FEMA’s mission since the first day we started in 1980 has always remained the same: To help our customers thrive by manufacturing the highest quality display products and providing unsurpassed customer service.

Today touchscreen displays pervade every aspect of lives.   There are many important design considerations to keep in mind, which is exactly why FEMA customers now more than ever rely on FEMA to serve as their partner.  During the initial design process FEMA leverages 40 years of experience across every industry to analyze the cost/benefit tradeoff and the pros/cons of each technology.  More importantly, once in production FEMA will work with the customer to ensure continuous supply for the entire product lifecycle.

Thin film transistor liquid crystal display (TFT-LCD) is a variant of liquid crystal display (LCD) which uses thin-film transistor (TFT) technology to improve image quality (e.g., addressability, contrast). TFT LCD is one type of active matrix LCD, though all LCD-screens are based on TFT active matrix addressing.Image Icon

FEMA’s LCD TFT Development Kits bundles all the necessary components into one convenient package! FEMA’s LCD Kit components include the LCD Display, a Controller Board (Evaluation Board / AD Board), Optional Resistive and Capacitive Touch Panel, Optional Power Supply, and cables. Our LCD Kits are available in both standard brightness and sun readable high brightness versions.

FEMA Electronics’ standard Monochrome LCD Displays are cost effective and are designed for ease of installation.

The demand in outdoor application has increased for high brightness LCDs due to its good visibility and ability operate in severe environment. High brightness performance provides excellent visibility for products used in outdoors or in a bright environment.

FEMA’s Embedded System is a cost effective alternative to the single board computer (SBC) solution assuming you do not need to show movie videos. FEMA has solved the time consuming task of integrating a touch screen display (7 inch and 8 inch) such that all you need to do is write the application to run on the Windows CE 5.0, CE 6.0 or Linux 2.6x operating systems.

FEMA Electronics offers a wide range of LED products ranging from LED Lamps, Displays to SMD LEDs. LED light products are highly desired due to its many advantages which includes high efficiency, fewer size restrictions, variety of color, longer lifetime as well as being environmentally friendly.

A touch panel is an electronic visual display that can detect the presence and location of a touch within the display area. The term generally refers to touching the display of the device with a finger or hand. Touch panels can also sense other passive objects, such as a stylus. FEMA Electronics offers touch panels in these standard sizes: 2.8″, 3.5″, 4.3″, 5.6″, 5.7″, 6.4″, 7.0″, 8″, 10.1″, 10.4″. We also produce them in custom sizes per customer specification.

An OLED is an organic light emitting diode whose emissive electroluminescent layer is composed of a film of organic compounds. Its components are used in a new type of viewing screen/display. OLEDs can be viewed in bright lighting conditions, at greater angles, unlike LCDs. A significant benefit of OLED displays over traditional liquid crystal displays (LCDs) is that OLEDs do not require a backlight to function.
